The Secret Affair of the Asian Elephant

How are elephants trained in Asia? What is a true elephant sanctuary? And what has a facial got to do with elephants?
 
For the first time, elephant conservationists in Asia will be represented together as many secrets about Asia’s endangered iconic giants and their captive trade are revealed in a free screening of films and photography exhibition.
 
Autographed limited edition items will also be auctioned for conservation funding. There’s also an organic facial to be won!
 
When: 13 December 2008, 10.30 am – 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm – 4.30 pm
Where: Singapore Botanical Gardens Botany Centre
Films: Award-winning Vanishing Giants by Jennifer Hile, The Elephants and the Trees by Jin Pyn
