The Systematics & Ecology Lab has been under Peter Ng’s helm for more than a decade (since 1990) after the passing of the baton from D H Murphy. We hardly take group photos but with the upcoming in-house DBS Research Talks, JC urged us to document our well feasted faces, fresh from celebrating Peter Ng’s birthday belatedly with some chocolate ice-cream log cake.
So JC nudged us outside and Son grabbed Yiwen from the neighbouring lab, kicked away some trash cans in the way and against the background of native plants in the botany garden behind us, it turned out pretty well.
